ABOUT

Released during women's history month and honoring women all year this special made to order piece is created to connect history, material, and personal meaning.

In 1910, in the home forges of Cradley Heath, England, women worked grueling shifts forging steel chains by hand. They hammered and welded in both sweltering heat and bitter cold, their hands blackened, their bodies exhausted and earning just pennies for their labor.

These weren't delicate decorative chains to adorn their necks or wrists, but heavy, industrial chains used for ships, anchors, and industry. The women forging them were among the most exploited workers in.

That year, they did something radical. For ten weeks they marched, rallied, and refused to return to their forges until they received the legal minimum wage. Together, they won.

Those additional pennies often meant the difference between hunger and survival, but the victory wasn't just about wages. It was about dignity, standing together and saying: our work has value. We have value.

When I discovered this chapter of history I was so moved by what they forged- a path forward, not just for themselves, but for every woman who came after.

Just over a hundred years later, we live in a world those women helped build. We have voices they fought to amplify. We have opportunities they couldn't imagine. We stand on foundations they laid, link by link, strike by strike, generation by generation.

I wanted to create something that honored that connection in technique, in material, and in meaning. Something you could wear as a reminder of how far we've come, and who helped get us here. This bracelet links us.

Each bracelet is handcrafted from recycled sterling silver using traditional metalsmithing methods, the same methods used in those Cradley Heath forges. The links are substantial, weighted with intention, and bear the honest character of the hands and tools that shaped them. These aren't flaws. They're proof of craft. A reminder that beautiful things often come from hard work, and that beauty is strength. Bracelets are packaged with a AHS cotton pouch and recycled gift box.
